Volkswagen Golf motorist comes unstuck in New Year's post-it prank

Drivers can often come unstuck when they try parking in the town centre, least of all on New Year's Eve.

But one motorist in Bristol has certainly got the message not to bother trying again.

The shocked owner of a Volkswagen Golf awoke at the dawn of 2010 to find his car covered in hundreds of fluorescent Post-it notes in an apparent prank.

No part of the car was left untouched with the hubcaps littered with yellow Post-its and the headlights blanked out by a collection of orange bits of paper.
